Customer Overview

Tokyo Micro Vietnam is a Japanese FDI company specializing in precision mechanical component manufacturing, located in Thang Long Industrial Park, Hanoi.

The camera system at the factory has been deployed to support both internal monitoring and compliance with Customs requirements. NSV has been the implementation partner since the initial stage and continues to support system operation and expansion.

Recently, the customer required additional cameras to meet new Customs requirements. After this deployment, the total number of cameras in the system reached 29 cameras.

Needs & Challenges

During operation, the customer needed to install additional cameras to comply with Customs requirements.

The implementation needed to ensure:

• The existing system was in operation → no downtime allowed
• New cameras must be compatible with the existing system
• Cameras must be installed at designated locations as required
• Image quality must be clear for monitoring purposes
• Camera data must be stored for a minimum of one year in accordance with Customs regulations

Solution

NSV provided solution consulting, conducted site surveys, and implemented system expansion based on the customer’s requirements:

• Installed an additional 10 cameras at designated locations based on the surveyed plan

• Supplied equipment and integrated into the existing Customs camera system
• Performed system inspection, configuration, and finalization after installation
• The entire deployment was executed without interrupting factory operations

Results

After completion:

• The camera system meets Customs requirements
• No disruption to the existing system during implementation
• Newly installed cameras operate stably after integration
• The system reached a total of 29 cameras, meeting monitoring and compliance requirements

Conclusion

The camera system has been expanded in phases to align with operational needs and Customs requirements.

NSV continues to support the customer in system operation and future expansions as needed.
