I. Overview of Software

 

CADmeister is a 3D CAD/CAM product developed in the Japan’s production industries pursuing "High Quality, Low Cost, and Short Delivery Times." We propose CADmeister as a Point Solution to support a broad range of jobs in the world's production industries.  

II. Overview Software functions

        1.   MOLD DESIGN

CADmeister's MOLD is applicable to the whole range of design work, from feasibility studies to core design, detail design, drawing creation, and procurement data generation.

        2.   PRESS DIE DESIGN

          

This function supports press die design. "Press die design" is roughly classified into three categories of capability, namely design support capability, modeling support capability, and post processing support capability.

        3.   OTHER FUNCTION

             A.   Modeling

CADmeister is a hybrid modeler supporting wire-frame, surface and solid modeling. CADmeister provides a flexible modeling environment free from the difference of data model, including the capability that enables set operations between surface models and solid models.

 

              B.   Data Exchange

Customers supply a contractor with data in various kinds of formats. Data exchange with customers is one of the most important processes we do. CADmeister provides powerful data exchange tools that enable the sending and receiving of accurate data to and from various CAD systems.

 

           C. Application of 3D to manufacturing work floor

In addition to the standard functions of Application of 3D to manufacturing work floor, motion analysis capabilities dedicated to mold design are available. Motion analysis of molds can be carried out easily.

 

               D. Electrode shape creation CAD

"Electrode shape creation CAD" is the capability that comprehensively supports review of the area of a model shape where electro discharge machining is appropriate, creation of an electrode shape, and generation of documents for machining. The attributes unique to an electrode are assigned to a created electrode shape to link to "CAM for electrode creation," and the process can further be automatized.

 

               E. CAM for electrode creation

"CAM for electrode creation" enables to collectively perform the processes from CAM calculation to interference checking performed after NC output using an intuitive operation of dragging data from the attributes assigned to an electrode model and dropping it onto a machining DB. Multiple electrode shapes can be processed collectively and efficiently, therefore, data for a machining center processes can be created with minimal effort.

 

              F. Hole machining attribute interaction CAM

"Hole machining attribute interaction CAM" automatically creates standardized data for hole machining from the assigned hole machining attributes and geometric information, regardless of 2D or 3D. Hole machining data can be created from a various sources including a solid model forwarded from an upper stream process, drawing data, a hole information file (CSV). Use of "Hole machining attribute interaction CAM" together with "MOLD" makes it possible to crate hole machining data even more efficiently.
